Albion Hotel, a family-run hotel in the centre of Ieper, is 350 metres from the Menin Gate. It features free high-speed WiFi, an intimate bar and packed lunch services. I feel I stumbled onto a precious gem! We had a last minute detour to Ypres and I booked the Albion because of its proximity to the Menin gate. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of this family run hotel. When I think of our short stay in Ypres I may remember chatting with Daphne at the Albion desk and bar as much as our visit to the Flanders Museum just around the corner! Besides the kindness of the owners, our room was modern but with architectural features that honored the past. The high tech skylight looked up on the steeple of the nearby church. The bar was comfortable with great local beers. And be sure to include breakfast! A spread worthy of the cost. Thank you Daphne and the entire family for your hospitality!

L’Ariane és un hotel de gestió familiar situat a 7 minuts a peu del centre històric d'Ypres, on trobareu la porta de Menin i el Museu In Flanders Fields. Firstly, the people were excellent. Friendly from the moment we walked through the door, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms had everything you need, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean . Oh, the restaurant dinner was first class! The lamb was done perfectly and the vegetables were delicious!

Situated 6.2 km from The Menin Gate, Huyze Vinteling in Ypres features rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. Exceptional in every way! We would thoroughly recommend this B&B to anyone. Lovely helpful host, fantastic bedroom and wonderful breakfast. For the quality of experience it is value for money too.

Located in Téteghem, DOMITYS La Capeline offers accommodation with a heated pool and private parking. It was a spacious quiet hotel with large apartments which were very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. Good fridges very very handy. And a nice small kitchen area to make tea and coffee. The location is peaceful. And we heard no noise, from the hotel or from the road outside . It felt safe and a nice place to be, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Villa Seven Malo PENTHOUSE is a beachfront property situated in Dunkerque, 1.1 km from Plage Malo les Bains and 3.2 km from Dunkerque Train Station. Great location. Great apartment.

Poppies Flats is situated in Ypres, 26 km from St Philibert Metro Station, 30 km from Zoo Lille, and 31 km from Phalempins Metro Station. Great location in Ypres. Close to shops and restaurants. Everything was very walkable. Very recently renovated and spacious apartment. It was clean and well looked after. The balcony was also a nice addition and it was lovely to sit out in the sun. Bonus was that the building had an elevator, which was nice as I didn't need to lug my heavy suitcase up the stairs.

Offering city views, Mr.Bernard Vakantie Appartementen is an accommodation located in De Panne, 2.4 km from De Panne Beach and less than 1 km from Plopsaland. The host was unable to meet us to handover keys, but we were made aware in advance and clear instructions were provided to locate the keys in a key safe adjacent to the property. Parking (free) was permitted immediately outside the property. Very clean and tidy apartment and was ideally located, very close to the attraction we were visiting.
