Well located in the centre of Calgary, Alt Hotel Calgary East Village provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a bar. Very good location - walking distance to downtown, but at a very quiet street. During the weekend plenty of free parking opportunities in the street. Our room was great - super clean, with nice river view, comfortable beds, nice furniture, good coffee provided. Wifi working perfectly. Very nice personnel. There is billiard table downstairs and you can also borrow some board games if you're bored. For breakfast we used the bakery accross the street- really good pastry, sandwiches and coffee. Really great place, I would come back

26 km from The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, Canmore Downtown Hostel is situated in Canmore and features air-conditioned rooms. Good hostel with an awesome views from the shared space, it was awesome to have dinner watching sunset over the mountains. I stayed a few times at this hostel during my trip to the Rockies. Coffee available at reception for $2. Strong wi-fi, comfy beds. Kitchen is open till 10 pm. You can go to Banff for $6 on a local bus, the stop is in 50 meters. Location is good for trail running or hiking as many routes start from the city centre nearby the hostel

Located in Banff National Park, this resort features suites with views of the Rocky Mountain. Easy access is available to Bow Valley Parkway and Lake Louise is 20 minutes’ drive away. So close to Lake Louise, that it’s so fun not driving so much. The team in the front seat are very kind! The cabins are the most beautiful I ever saw. We definitely had so much fun and it was fantastic!
