The panoramic view is amazing. There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Boasting garden views, Ofenhaus provides accommodation with a balcony, around 15 km from Forum Fribourg. Traveling home from Munich the Ofenhaus was a perfect location for a stop over. The location is quiet but a short walk into town. Our host was friendly and on hand when we arrived, the studio was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Our only regret was we should of stayed another day to explore the area.

The room is beautiful and comfortable, all staff are attentive, and the food is incredible! Really worth it! Big parking place, dogs were accepted and could join in the restaurant.

The Old Town Flat combines a historic building in the city centre of Murten with a stylish, modern apartment including a fully equipped kitchen, a garden terrace and free WiFi. Fabulous. Comfortable for two. Loved the balcony and the natural garden. Loved being close to the ramparts on a stunning typically picturesque street. The location is a few metres to shops and restaurants. Christian was a warm and welcoming owner/host with NZ connections, which made us feel special. Can highly recommend.

Situated in Salavaux and only 20 km from Forum Fribourg, Studio de vacances avec vue sur le lac de Morat features accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Nice place where we felt completely at home, surrounded by beautiful decor, complimentary food, and all the little necessities you wouldn’t normally expect in a rental property — even a fondue pot was available! Pascal and his son were very friendly, gave us great advice on what to see in the area, and even showed us their chickens and let us feed them.

Offering free bikes and lake view, Bellevue Apartments Murten is located in Murten, 15 km from Forum Fribourg and 28 km from Bern railway station. This was by far one of the best places I've booked on this site. The apartment was amazing with a panoramic view over the lake of Murten from the living area as well as the bedroom. It had everything we needed and more. Great location, great architecture, great views. Bonus: There was free still and sparkling filtered water provided by a very nice "Aquarello" device.
