It is surrounded by lots of restaurants and 2 bakeries, rossmann and some grocery stores. I visited Anuga food show in Koln and it took me around 1 hour to get there; however I alway have a seat on the trains so that the distance is not an isssue. The host should be appraised as super host. I wish I could stay there in the next trips to Anuga.
