The location, staff, spa treatments, facilities and food were all fantastic!! Except for the Crepe Suzette….it was all wrong….but I still ate it. It was just what I needed to end my trip to Ecuador.

Banana lodge was a great choice for our stay in Misahualli. It's adjacent to the Misahualli river (where we got to swim) and just a few minutes walk from the town center. The grounds are clean and well kept and the room was comfortable. There is a communal kitchen for preparing your own food which was very convenient, and taking our meals opposite the river bank was a treat. The hostess was very helpful with planning our activities. Highly recommended.
