It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

We only stayed one night but I could imagine a whole summer in these settings.

Located in the heart of Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, Hôtel Les Pins offers en suite accommodation, a terrace and a bar. The sea is just 100 metres from the hotel. Quirky traditional small hotel, full of personality, with very friendly and attentive staff.
