We stayed a second night when we weren’t planning to because of their hospitality!

The apartment was beautiful, spotless clean, perfectly equipped with everything you might need and the owner was one of the kindest and charming souls we have ever met. We needed a doctor and she arranged an appointment at a very good clinic right away. There is private parking and the location of the apartment is very good too, with only a few minutes away from the centre.

Had the most delicious frozen ready made meals that the host warm up and bring for you, could also buy braaipacks, wood and homemade bread. The hiking trail is such a great extra. Can highly recommend staying here will definitely come again.

Canyon Roadhouse Campsite features camping accommodation in the Karas region, near the Fish River Canyon. Amazing location with everything you need. Shop, gas, beers... The place has a unique atmosphere. The facilities were clean and the campsite was spacious at distance to others.

Wilmari and her team created a very comfortable home next to the fish river canyon. The dinner is very delicious and they were really big portions, perfect for hungry wanderers, a little too much for people who had lunch 😉 if you don’t eat meat, I’d recommend to tell a view days before. The room was very clean and also had everything. Can highly recommend namgate guesthouse 🫶
