Palmwag Campsite offers camping facilities near Palmwag. Campers have access to the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities. We loved everything about this campsite. The staff is really kind and helpful. The bathroom is huge and very clean and comfortable. The restaurant, bar and pool are amazing.

With an outdoor pool, it is run by an organisation that aims to improve local welfare. fantastic views from the lodge and each bungalow into the canyon, nice pool with view, good food, friendly staff. Challenging last 100m, but with 4x4 no problem.

Situated in the Etendeka Concession Area at the foot of the Grootberg Mountains, this rustic and eco-friendly camp features tented accommodation, an outdoor pool safari opportunities. Good home cooked food. The tents were comfortable and the bucket shower, to my surprise, was quite adequate. Our guide was knowledgeable and we both were pleased that we were persuaded to do the walks. This is a wonderful place to stay in a superb landscape. Good game viewing as well.

The cabins (even the standard ones) feel like a luxury vacation, and this lodge is well worth the stay. The view from the restaurant is unbelievable at sunset, and the food is delicious. The staff are kind and easy-going and help to organize whatever activities you would like to do.

Good re-imagination of the old Fort. Big trees in the yard. Great view from the tower. Good food. Friendly people. Ernest is the perfect guide for a drive into the Hoanib river bed and visiting the desert elephants. We did this in our own car.
