Palmwag Campsite offers camping facilities near Palmwag. Campers have access to the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities. This was our favourite campsite from our 4 weeks stay across Nambia. Beautiful scenery and great facilities, exceeded our expectations. The restaurant was great with amazing food and staff.

In stone lodges on the edge of the Etendeka Plateau, rooms at Grootberg Lodge offer far-reaching views. With an outdoor pool, it is run by an organisation that aims to improve local welfare. fantastic views from the lodge and each bungalow into the canyon, nice pool with view, good food, friendly staff. Challenging last 100m, but with 4x4 no problem.

Situated in the Etendeka Concession Area at the foot of the Grootberg Mountains, this rustic and eco-friendly camp features tented accommodation, an outdoor pool safari opportunities. We spent a blissful 3 nights at Etendeka Mountain Camp. The camps location is stunning , the tented rooming perfect . Watching the sun rise from the comfort of a cosy bed through our open tent entrance was amazing. The bucket shower , taken under a star filled sky , most memorable. The staff at Etendeka Mountain Camp were so friendly. The food yummy . The star gazing evening was most informative as were the local hikes guided by Glacius that we enjoyed during our stay at the camp . In addition it was lovely chatting informatively with other guests during the evenings.

With garden views, Palmwag Lodge is set in Palm and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Loved this lodge!!! We loved the serenity, the beautiful location, the bonus elephants grazing just across from the open-air bar - and best of all, the elephant that came strolling into the camp much to the delight of all the guests

Khowarib Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Khowarib. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. All rooms come with a patio. We enjoyed our stay. We recommend doing the Desert elephant Tour! This was the Highlight of our Trip.

Fort Sesfontein Lodge & Safaris features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Sesfontein. The hotel also provides free WiFi and free private parking. Good re-imagination of the old Fort. Big trees in the yard. Great view from the tower. Good food. Friendly people. Ernest is the perfect guide for a drive into the Hoanib river bed and visiting the desert elephants. We did this in our own car.
