Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. This hotel deserves an amazing review ! Staff was extremely helpful with the bookings and restaurants and chef breakfast was fine dining food ! Special thanks to the lovely christmas gift and to rachel for making this trip special !

I have been to Longyearbyen before, but stayed in a hotel. This time I was traveling with my mom, and wanted some place a little bigger. This apartment popped up and it turned out to be the best place we stayed during our entire arctic trip! The host was incredibly communicative, and helped us out with a few hiccups that happened during our stay. The apartment is incredibly spacious and clean, and the beds are amazingly comfortable! It was so cozy, and there was a helpful little pamphlet explaining everything that you may need to know about the space. It's easy to get to the center of town, about a 3-5 min walk to the coop, Stationen, etc. Again, the host was AMAZING, and I cannot recommend this place enough! We even got lucky enough to see the northern lights off the balcony on a few nights during our stay! Love, love, LOVED this place and this host!

Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is the northernmost full-service hotel in the world, located in Longyearbyen. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the city center. The reception staff is helpful and friendly. Having a coffee machine is a nice touch, and the breakfast is delicious. It’s great that the hotel offers the option to check in for the flight.
