The Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa is a historic five-star hotel located in the heart of Bern, Switzerland. The hotel is centrally located and very close to the main train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with luxurious bathroom and toiletries. The included breakfast was amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer!

The breakfast spread was beautiful and delicious. We shared the table with two other guests and had lovely conversation over options like granola, yogurt, fruit, bread, and a selection of cheeses. The host has a beautiful bathroom (not attached to the room) with a jacuzzi tub that was most welcomed after four days of skiing in the Alps. The host does not speak any English so we were challenged to reactivate our high school French. She is so outgoing and patient in her communication that it was delightful to try to figure out what she was telling us and we never felt like we didn’t understand her recommendations, offerings, or expectations. Highly recommended!

Apresentando vista do jardim, Bright, sunny holiday apartment on the farm dispõe de acomodações com varanda e máquina de café, a cerca de 30 km de Campanário de Bern. Wonderful upper apartment on a quaint farm. Fritz was a kind host. Enjoyed the porch. We were only here for one night as we were driving from Paris to Italy, but it was a perfect spot for the night. We are already thinking about a separate trip back with a stay here to explore more of the Alps.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Bauernhof. The house was very cozy and well organised. The beds were very comfortable and it was obvious that somebody thought about every detail. The outdoor area was very beautiful and the kids could have stayed there much longer. Thank you for a very pleasant stay - best wishes from the icelandic family:)

Amazingly beautiful hotel in a beautiful little town . We were surprised to know this is a family owned hotel and they were so kind and hospitable. They wanted to make sure we felt comfortable and provided us all the information we wanted. It was recently redone because of a fire they had a couple of years back and the property is phenomenal. Definitely coming back if I come to Switzerland again.
