We had a lovely stay at this beautiful accommodation. It's even more beautiful than in the pictures, super clean and provided everything we needed. The location in the horse barn was unique, dreamy, warm and cosy and better than we could've imagined. Furthermore, the Stavkirke is also very close by (our original motivation for our stay). In the end it was the horse ranch and a beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming home (and a super comfortable bed) that convinced us that we had chosen a perfect place to stay. We wish that we would've stayed longer than just one night during our roadtrip through Telemark in winter. Thank you for making us feel right at home! It was our favorite stay on our whole journey.

This was such a unique property—very remote, yet close to the nearby town of Dalen. The kitchen was well equipped and we made dinner (there were four of us staying in the two cabins) and foraged for mushrooms and berries at the hosts encouragement and guidance. We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

Beautiful breakfast. Lovely hosts. Spotlessly clean. Basin in room. Handy option for an evening meal. Nice walks in the area. They allowed us to park the motorcycle in a closed shed.

A well equipped Apartment and beautiful sundeck. The owners were so nice and welcoming to us and had many toys for our little children. We only stayed for a sleepover, but enjoyed it very much.

What a lovely historical place! We had a great time with my family in this cozy traditional cabin surrounded by the beautiful norwegian nature. You can even see the Gaustatoppen in the distance. We walked 15 min to the local top with 360 view and watched a sunset on a cliff. We stayed in a cabin with shared facilities, big lounge areas, and it has everything you need in the kitchen, fridge room, washing room etc. even room with food to buy. It is a perfect place for big families & groups too. I wish we had more time to swim with kano that they allow to borrow, and time to fish in this fish-rich lake! If you searching for not only a stay in a peaceful beautiful place but also for a lovely experience - this is s place. Thank you to the hosts for warm welcome!
