Located just 45 minutes' drive from Sligo Airport, Kilronan Castle Hotel & Spa features an indoor swimming pool.On-site spa and a fine dining restaurant. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. This hotel was the highlight of my trip ! ... From the minute we walked in we were welcomed by amazing lady on Reception (I think called Maria) ... She personally took us to show us where everything was and saw us to the lift. I mentioned in passing that I had sadly been unable to get anything booked in at the Spa and she promised she would sort it and get the spa to call me..... Which they did within 10 minutes and arranged a slot for me. The Castle is STUNNING !! ... The Drawing Room (which is casual dining) is stunning and you are made to feel like you are the priority even when they are busy. Dungeon bar was great and took our drinks through to the Library and sat by the open fire .. honestly it was 1000% worth the cost. I would not normally spend this much on a room but it was such a special experience I would highly recommend to anyone wanting something special ! The grounds are stunning, we did a short walk around as it was freezing outside but there are lots of trails. Breakfast was great and very well organised. Yes is was expensive .. around £16 for a cocktail, but so worth it for a WOW experience.

Kilronan 4 Bed House on castle grounds beschikt over een restaurant, een bar, massagediensten, en biedt accommodatie in Ballyfarnon met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de tuin. The house itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was beautiful and just a short walk to the castle. We had dinner each night at the castle café, and the food and drinks were delicious. We spent a day on rented bicycles in nearby Leithem, and did some shopping in Carrick on Shannon. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return!
