The gardens were beautiful, the room spacious and clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfasts delicious and wholesome.

Refúgio dos Capelinhos - Villa e Suites ligger i Norte Pequeno och har en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en restaurang och en bar. Great place to spend a few days for relaxing or doing some activities. Very close to the spectacular volcano Capelinhos and nice beach. The view is really astonishing especially when you are having your breakfast or dinner in the canopy in the garden or sitting on your terrace of your room. The owner, his wife and daughter were very helpful, friendly and what a delicious dinner they served to us on the 2nd evening. The owner is really a great cook and we told him he should do more with his talent😁. Everything was above our expectations and on Faial we think it's one of the best places to stay. With the car just 15m to the airport and about 25m to Horta.

The house was recently renovated (my opinion) . Workmanship was excellent. The house exterior,interior ,The patio ,barbeque area, pool and grounds are all nicely appointed and maintained to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped with alot of extras(fruit, spices,condiments,etc). The house is isolated ,completely quiet with postcard worthly views. Bruno The owner is what is commonly known as a super host. Hé was there for me and my family in all aspects. In summary and top tier experience. My number 1 recommendation. Ps. Good Star glazing spot.
