Breakfast was very good. It was not a basic buffet, you ordered from a breakfast menu. Lots of choices and everything was prepared fresh.

Koh Kood Beach Resort is 4 km away from Klong Yai Kee Waterfall. It boasts an outdoor swimming pool. Guest rooms come with a private balcony overlooking the sea. Everything was perfect. Definitely one of the best place on the island.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. Before our stay, I emailed the hotel to ensure they had vegan food. Upon arrival, we were pleased to know that they had purchased vegan products and veganised a few items on their menu for us. They have amazing pad Thai, curries, and fried rice. The hotel itself is lovely and has a beautiful beach and pool. The staff are very friendly.

Everything. The clue is in the name. True paradise. Beach, perfect, hotel, perfect, staff, perfect. Best stay I have ever had.

I stayed at Janzo House for a week, and didn’t want to leave! The resort just opened a few months ago, but you can immediately feel how much care and thought the owners have put into it. There is a very chill, homey-vibe that isn’t easy to create. The dorm was spotless, cozy, and well-designed with lockers and spacious beds. I slept amazing (rare for a dorm) thanks to the great air circulation (two fans and AC) and soundproofing. I had the option to upgrade to one of their private rooms, which are probably the best value on the island, but opted to just stay in the dorm. The owners were always available to help with anything I needed, even providing me a refresher on how to ride a scooter since I was a bit rusty (they offer rentals on site which was so convenient and affordable). They also gave me the best recommendations for hidden gems and the best beaches to visit on Koh Kood, which made my time on the island better than I could have imagined. I ate here whenever I could since the food was amazing. I’m a latte girlie and appreciated that they use an actual espresso machine, none of that nescafe garbage. Personal favourite breakfast is the muesli, but everything they make is from the heart. The garlic chicken and pad kra pao were to die for. It’s also nice that they have a fully stocked bar and super reasonable prices! The pool was kept spotless and was the perfect place to cool off and lounge on a lazy day. They have the most amazing massage therapist that gives pool-side massages (she’s so good I had four while there). I can’t say enough about Janzo House. If you’re planning to stay, I highly recommend allocating a few more days if you can. You’ll be glad you did (I was sad that I didn’t). Already planning my next stay!

Nagtatampok ang Markhouse Bungalow Ko Kut ng outdoor swimming pool, hardin, terrace, at restaurant sa Ko Kood. Had a great little bungalow close to the pool. It had very good hot water in the shower. The bed was firm but extremely comfortable with good pillows, air conditioning plus a fan. A kettle, bottled water, hair-dryer, fridge and power outlets near the bed. No tea and coffee supplied, but I had my own. Free kayaks to take as desired for use. A billiard room, scooter rental and a small mini mart in the reception area which was very handy. Breakfast was included with very tasty food: all that you could require, including Thai food, toast, butter and jam, fruits, cereals, yoghurt, salad, eggs, pasties, juice, tea and coffee. The owner was very helpful in organising and booking my ferry transfer back to Trat. I believe there are also tours you can book there as well. To access the Khlong Chao beach you need to walk through the resorts across the road... about 5 minute walk. There was an ATM at reception, as well as across the road and one further up the street near BB Divers and the bakery. There are just a few restaurants around within walking distance, including two Dive shops, and I was able to walk to the night market, 11 minutes away. I was also able to walk to Khlong Chao Waterfall, about 30 minutes walk. Everything is spread out on Koh Kood with no real 'township', so that is why scooter is the only real way to explore on your own. The swimming pool at Markhouse was great and very clean. Rooms are cleaned every second day, though I believe you can request fresh towels as needed. Also, pool/beach towels available to use.
