This is a very classy hotel located on the Sørfjorden, a narrow branch of the Hardangerfjord, so narrow that you can see across the fjord from your room. Setting is spectacular. Spa facilities were excellent with several pools, sauna, hot tub. We hiked from the hotel up through the apple orchards along a river valley to a waterfall, about 3h walk, not too strenuous with great views. Dining on site is lovely but expensive; there are other options near by.

Breakfast was super good. Very good coffee, bread, salmon and meat, and home made jams. The location is great in case you also have an activity booked with Trolltunga Active. The meetings happen the day before your activity inside this hotel so that is very convenient. You can also walk over a bridge and along the lake. The views are stunning. You can walk from the hotel into town but it's a little hilly. We booked a triple room which was very spacious and this one had his own private bathroom which was super spacious as well. We booked a double room with sharing bathroom and that was a good option as well. In the morning, it was only a 20 min drive up to Parking A nearby Trolltunga Active store and starting point for the Overnight Trolltunga hike.

Breakfast was excellent, room was nice, big and clean. Bed was comfortable. Excellent value for money.

First of all, the guys that works there are simply amazing. So warm, friendly, professional, filling all your needs and desires, I felt like at home the whole stay. We had such a nice laugh! Big thanks for them for making my stay memorable, will definitely come back. Food is so delicious, especially the pancake Nr. 7 and pistachio ice cream dessert with banana. On top of that, the location is super nice, I stayed in the Hytter, which had everything essential to live and enjoy the nature. Comfortable beds, plenty of place for parking. Everyone has to visit this place and feel this magical vibe it has. THANK YOU once again!

The view is amazing. It is easily accessible from the main road and offers parking. Coffee can be bought at the reception. We checked in later in the night and everything was ready for us.

Warm welcome to a lovely Norwegian valley. It was a special week for us and it was clear that Magne was passionate about sharing his farm and valley. We extended our stay and would have loved to have stayed for longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

The location was excellent, perfect for Trolltunga hike. The facility was spacious, clean, thoughtful with everything we needed. The responses for our inquiries were super quick and helpful. Washer & Dryer with laundry detergent are provided. There are even free electrical charging stations at the parking lot. The Owner Olav was present late into night and early in the morning and walked us through how to operate kitchen equipments. He prints out ourly weather forecast daily for hikers and even provided us rain ponchos. We felt at home and very well taken care of. Highly recommend!

We stayed in top floor (160 m2), therefore more than enough space for two persons. Fantastic view to lake, mountains and fjord! Personal was very kind and helpful! Very silent and peaceful place!

It was right on the water. It was very large for the price. Very funky decor
