Located in Mesão Frio, a 35-minute drive from Lamego, Imaginário d´El Rei features a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace. Very charming, family-run hotel in the hills of the Douro Valley with not only an extraordinary view on the bending river. But most strikingly - the house has personality which obviously reflects the owner’s passion for place, history and intimacy. Vintage items, personal photos here and there makes you feel like staying at a friends’ place who also has lovely recommendations at hand when you look for places to explore. And if you want to just relax and enjoy the view - the hotel’s pool and the surrounding terraces are just perfect to calm down. Moreover: one of us was sick during our stay - and the hosts were super helpful, understanding and supporting, this was extraordinary. Thank you so much!

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The place is fantastic, better than we expected! Great staff and warm welcoming, they service us their homemade excellent port when we arrived. The room is very spacious and charming with elegant antique furnitures, great atmosphere! The dinner was amazing! Great food and wine, they were very kind to serve us with another pre-drink of port, lots of great red wine during the dinner and with a 40years port after dinner. Breakfast is also nice and fresh! Quinta Vilar e Almarde offers rustic-style accommodation in Castelo de Paiva. Luis and his wonderful wife couldn't do enough for us, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are lovely and spacious. This establishment is family run, and Luis and his wife run it like a finely oiled machine! I would highly recommend this accommodation. Calm and relaxing. It's truly amazing!!! 10 stars ++++

Objekat Quinta Da Marka u gradu Covas do Douro u ponudi ima smeštaj sa pogledom na planinu, sezonskim bazenom na otvorenom, vrtom, zajedničkim salonom i terasom. It was a brilliant location, Angela and her team really gave us great service, with Angela helping with local things to do, even gave us a ride to the train station which was a great option to get into Pinheo (?) , we were spoiled as we were the only guests but there were so many areas both inside and out, the food was brilliant and the views were amazing too,

It’s a 800 year old building but in pristine and very chique furniture & design. It has recent expansion and it is top quality walls, bedroom & bathroom. The view from rooms, lounge, patio, pool, and dining room is pristine like a painting. The owner and those that work there are incredibly friendly, kind & accommodating. We felt like they were family’s The dinner, wine & desserts were top of the line. I highly recommend the place and if ever visiting Portugal, will stay again!
