Yuno Yado Shoei er staðsett í 8 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá JR Tambaguchi-stöðinni og býður upp á hverabað fyrir almenning og japanskan veitingastað. Beautiful and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast are authentic and the onsen is really nice.

Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei er staðsett í Kyoto, í innan við 800 metra fjarlægð frá Sanjusangen-do-hofinu og býður upp á garð, ofnæmisprófuð herbergi og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. It’s a beautiful villa with the most courteous and lovely staff. From the facade, to the lobby, to the room it’s a 10/10. We had beautiful good quality kimono’s to use in the room also. The details are absolutely everywhere in the room. Lastly as it was my birthday they surprised me upon my late return to the hotel with some delicious matcha cakes. Gave us an umbrella as well for the rain. Just wonderful!

Luck You Kyoto offers accommodation in Kyoto. Free luggage storage is available. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. So nice with the onsen across the street.

Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei er staðsett í 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá líflega Kawaramachi-svæðinu og býður upp á gistingu í japönskum stíl með nútímalegri aðstöðu og hefðbundinni hönnun. Good location (close to shopping area and train station) with comfortable futon beds. We would love to have had more days to enjoy more of the hotel’s facilities.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. Great service, great space, safe neighbourhood

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. The staff is extremely nice, it is located near all the relevant public baths and the town's temple. The private onsen is great both for relaxing and for preparing yourself to the bigger public ones. And it is not even expensive.

Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. Reception staff was fantastic and very accommodating- assisted us with baby change and nursing facilities even though the hotel was closed for maintenance.

Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in er 1000 ára gamalt búddahof og býður upp á gistirými í japönskum stíl, fallegan garð og ókeypis WiFi. Everything about our stay was fantastic! The room was absolutely fabulous, and we were delighted to receive an upgrade. Having our own private onsen-style facility in the bathroom made the experience truly special. The monk staff were incredibly gracious, friendly, and always ready to help.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. We only stayed one night but it was worth it. We were looking into a traditional Ryokan experience and that’s what we received. The complete staff was super kind, they welcomed us, received our bags before check in and later when we came up they welcomed us with tea and local sweets. In the night we had our kaiseki dinner (13 courses) it was a lot but definitely an experience to remember. Not good tho for sensitive paladars, be prepared to eat everything. The girl who served as our host was super nice and explained us everything. The private bath was also a highlight. We loved every second.
