Featuring an on-site public hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant, Yuno Yado Shoei is located an 8-minute walk away from JR Tambaguchi Station. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful our stay was. We had a long day of hiking in the pouring rain which just kept on coming. Once we got to our room, we decided we're not going anywhere after a change of clothes (to the robes we had in our room). It was a lovely realization that we could book massages, enjoy the Japanese spa and have dinner under one roof. So we just did all that. Everything was perfect: The spa was magical, I sat there in the steaming hot outdoor bath alone while the rain is pouring and just closed my eyes thinking I'm in heaven... the massage was one of the best we've ever experienced, it was done while fully clothed so without the oily feeling after! And the dinner.. One of the best ones we had during our entire 3-city trip. We had to wait a bit and the kitchen was closing but they managed to fit us in just before the closing and we were so happy and content with the entire experience. Finally, our room was a very traditional one, futons on the tatami and a little table with a tea set and a sweet treat which was a great addition to the experience.

Cu o locație ideală în Kyoto, Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei pune la dispoziție serviciu de concierge și parcare privată gratuită. It’s a beautiful villa with the most courteous and lovely staff. From the facade, to the lobby, to the room it’s a 10/10. We had beautiful good quality kimono’s to use in the room also. The details are absolutely everywhere in the room. Lastly as it was my birthday they surprised me upon my late return to the hotel with some delicious matcha cakes. Gave us an umbrella as well for the rain. Just wonderful!

Luck You Kyoto oferă cazare în Kyoto. Oaspeţii au la dispoziție un depozit de bagaje gratuit. Camerele sunt dotate cu TV cu ecran plat. So nice with the onsen across the street.

Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei se află la 10 minute de mers pe jos de zona plină de viaţă Kawaramachi şi oferă unităţi de cazare în stil japonez, cu facilităţi moderne şi design tradiţional. Ne-am cazat la începutul lui martie 2025. Am avut o camera spațioasă, cvadrupla cu un pat mare dublu și 2 pe tatami, în stil japonez, cu uși glisante. Totul a fost impecabil. A funcționat foarte bine și aerul condiționat pt încălzire. Baia este spațioasă și impecabila. Cel mai mult mi-a plăcut experienta cu îmbrăcarea kimonoului. Cele doua doamne minunate japoneze, m-au îmbrăcat și mi-au aranjat parul superb. Le mulțumesc din suflet. Sper sa le mai întâlnesc! Cazarea este pe o strada linistita, dar destul de aproape de restaurante și magazine. Pe aproape este si un magazin cu lucruri la 100 de yeni. A fost cea mai frumoasa cazare a noastră din Japonia. Am avut 5 în total. Recomand.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. Good clean, elegant rooms. Great onsen. Good location for access to Kyoto's history and culture. Lovely helpful staff.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Everything. Everything was impecable, and the attention from the staff was astounding.

Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. The dinners both nights were fabulous and the Onsen was also very nice and comfortable.

Situat în clădirea unui templu budist de 1000 de ani, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in oferă unități de cazare în stil japonez, o grădină frumoasă și WiFi gratuit. I had so many expectations and Ekoin delivered everything. The temple itself is gorgeous, it is over 1.000 years, but so well kept, just impecable tatamis, garden, paintings, artwork. Also, it is so close to Okunoin cementery...i loved this part of town, so calm, feels like another time. The shared restrooms were a concern before getting there, but they ended up being one of the best of our entire trip - the bath is at the onsen, but is was ok for a day. Also, they provide a guide book to temple etiquette/schedules -just READ IT, do not go to morning service wearing yukata and do not arrive late. The monks are kind enough to let it go, but it is very disrespectful. The food is great, even though we are not vegetarians, we loved shojing ryori! And our favourite part was the morning service and the goma/fire ritual, do not miss it.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. We only stayed one night but it was worth it. We were looking into a traditional Ryokan experience and that’s what we received. The complete staff was super kind, they welcomed us, received our bags before check in and later when we came up they welcomed us with tea and local sweets. In the night we had our kaiseki dinner (13 courses) it was a lot but definitely an experience to remember. Not good tho for sensitive paladars, be prepared to eat everything. The girl who served as our host was super nice and explained us everything. The private bath was also a highlight. We loved every second.
