Great location for us feeling a bit like living in the real Rethymnon but still so close to the Old town! We can deffinitly recommend this place to live! Effie is the most incredible host anyone could hope for. She went out of her way to make sure we wanted for nothing. Even surprised us with breakfast sweets and such at our door. She was full of suggestions for sites, restaurants with directions for everywhere we wanted to go. The location in fantastic. We could watch on our balcony the hustle and bustle of tourists. Being right in the heart of the town was so much fun and everything was so accessible. Thank you so much for everything Effie- you rock!

I highly recommend staying at Vista del Porto! The check in and check out process was quick and easy. We were informed of the cleaning schedule upon arrival which was very convenient. The host provided a huge assortment of drinks and snacks which was also appreciated! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and well decorated. The location was ideal for dining and shopping. If you are driving to Rethymno, there is plenty of free parking quite close to the hotel- another plus!

The room was cleaned every couple of days and hosts on hand if anything is needed. Messiria beach is a 2min walk down the lane and you can take sun beds and parasols for free. There are several supermarkets on the main road and ATMs. There are no shortage of tavernas within a short walking distance.
