We've travelled on motorcycles for 2200ml and experienced lots of apartments. Highly recommended and the cheapest yet!

Felt like you were staying at a dear friend who has thoughtfully prepared their place for you. Not only was it clean and cosy, but there was everything we might have needed, including the washing machine with Marseille soap, hairdryer, stove, coffee machine, all sorts of dishes, condiments, spices, coffee, tea, etc. The fragile decor was glued to the surface to be child-proof! The host was friendly and caring.

Nathalie and Pierre were always very helpful and kind. We really liked the breakfast and loved eating outside with a magnificent view on the sunset. We will definitly go back to Le Sens des Merveilles. Mane and Forcalquier are both beautiful places to stay/to visit.

With only 3 modern rooms this was a fantastic B&B run by an amazing host. It was well located hidden away on the side of a hill, with amazing views across the Luberon Valley. The pool area and gardens were also just perfect.

The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

Our stay at Le Vieux Portail was absolutely magical. The property is full of charm, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful views. Louisa was such a lovely host, warm, thoughtful and so kind. We had mentioned that we would love a room with a view and she went out of her way to give us one overlooking the vineyard and the town. It was breathtaking to wake up to each morning. Everything about our stay felt peaceful and special.
