We arrived early due to our flight time but we’re able to use the beautiful lagoon. The hotel was peaceful and we totally relaxed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and The room was exceptional.

The hotel is very well located, 5 mins from the car return parking station at Klefavik airport. The reception and bar worked for long hours, and the room was cozy and dark, as I needed it for a good night's sleep.

Absolutely amazing hotel with awesome and helpful staff. Luxurious and friendly vibe. Exceeded all expectations. The spa is extraordinary and also with wonderful staff. Magnificent restaurant with delicious food. We stayed one night prior to our flight from Keflavík.

I didn't know I was going to be there that early on the day of check-in and I got my room! That alone was fantastic, and I thank the hotel and staff. Your staff at dinner was excellent too. So friendly.

    Hotel has reopened not so long time ago and can be a step for volcano trek or blue lagoon. Rooms are quite comfortable and quiet, good choice for breakfast. Nice staff.

    Very nice hotel 2 mn away from the blue lagoon. It is close to a factory but also the reason why blue lagoon exists ! The restaurant is very good, so is the breakfast buffet. There is also complimentary hot chocolate with marshmallows, coffee and tea. Very friendly staff and hotel spirit!

    The hotel is very close to Blue Lagoon and offers a complimentary shuttle. Nice that there is a restaurant on-site with a decent dinner menu, including children’s menu.

    A great first night in Iceland. Right on the doorstep to the Blue Lagoon which is why we booked this hotel. The staff were super helpful and the shuttle to and from the Lagoon was very welcome.

    Everything - this was the most perfect layover. Usually I book hotels but the reviews on this place was exceptional so we bookedhere - and was not disappointed. The husband/wife duo that runs it - were there when needed to support, answer questions and provide helpful tips. The house was spacious, super clean and guests staying there were super respectful of others and kept it clean and tidy. This was a perfect place to stay if you are going to the Blue Lagoon or to check out the volcanoes. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

    Good place to stay for just a night. There is a restaurant very next to it (belongs to another hotel) so getting morning coffee or breakfast was easy. Other wise although a good place this property is located is sort of drab, industrial, Wearhouse looking area. We wanted a reasonable and comfortable stay near Blue Lagoon. This did fit the bill perfectly.

    We spent just one night here when we did an Iceland stopover on our way to the US. It was absolutely amazing. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and kind. The restaurant is very good. Of course, we visited the Blue Lagoon, which was a great experience. The hotel offers a shuttle service, but ist’s just a 20 minute walk through the lava fields that is an adventure on its own (on a solid path of course). Our six year old daughter loved everything about it. The taxi service was totally flawless as well. I‘m sure we will be back <3

    Very comfortable hotels location set in a lava field near the goethermal power station was somewhat surreal. It is right next to The Blue Lagoon and near the airport . The lounge area was very cozy and the restaurant was exceptional and reasonably priced. A northern lights ‘wake up call ‘ delivered the goods on our last night in Iceland so the hotel lived up to its name. Highly recommended.

    such a beautiful hotel, really friendly with beautiful views. exactly what you want from Iceland. lovely food in Max’s restaurant… great vegetarian option too. open fire in the evenings. few minutes to blue lagoon. we left there for a couple of days in the city - and what a mistake that was.

    Very hip hotel at The Blue Lagoon with its own private lagoon and spa. Very relaxing, excellent helpful staff- thank you Thor. Wonderful room looking out onto the lava fields-amazing scenery. Lovely breakfast and dinner at Lava restaurant . The lagoon and spa were amazing.
